The ships have a large deck, a fantastic day room, a spacious galley where you can cook for large groups and comfortable cabins. During your sailing trip on the IJsselmeer, Markermeer or the Wadden Sea there will be plenty of options to keep the bride-to-be or groom-to-be occupied. They can help out with hoisting the sails, navigate, take the helm, swab the deck or make the drinks on deck. 

Sailing areas in the Netherlands

NAUPAR’s vessels have been sailing on the IJsselmeer, Markermeer, the Frisian lakes and the Wadden Sea for many years now. You will decide the route and destinations in consultation with the skipper, depending on the weather and the wind.

For example, you could moor in an elegant harbour town on the IJsselmeer, such as Enkhuizen, Lemmer or Medemblik. Or you might wish to put down anchor in the middle of a nature reserve. 

Though sailing across the Markermeer to Hoorn, Volendam or Amsterdam for an evening out is also to be recommended! If you want to go to Amsterdam, we recommend (due to the high cost of a berth in Amsterdam) a trip to Monnickendam. There, you can easily catch the express bus to Amsterdam and be in the centre of Amsterdam within half an hour.

Another option is to set course for the Wadden Sea, beach on the bottom of the Wadden Sea or go out in West-Terschelling. The possibilities are endless.

Variety of catering options

Once in the harbour you can eat out in a restaurant and go out for a party in the evening. Or you stay on board for a freshly tapped beer, prepare together a sunset barbecue or buffet, and enjoy a nice evening of games, karaoke or disco in the cossy dayroom. All ships have a well-equipped galley, and most of them have their own beer tap.

Or you could also let yourselves be spoiled by having a chef hired to prepare the meals for your stag/hen party on board. NAUPAR offers a variety of all-inclusive and catering packages.
