Step aboard paviljoentjalk De Onderneming and enjoy a delightful trip on the Wadden Sea, IJsselmeer or Frisian lakes with family, friends or colleagues. This historic tjalk is a spacious, light and fast ship, recognisable by the long tiller that turns over the raised aft deck of the pavilion. A cruise on De Onderneming is all about relaxation and conviviality. And, thanks to the shallow draught and flat bottom, it is also possible to beachcomb for a walk on the bottom of the Wadden Sea.
In the spacious cockpit, you can help the skipper navigate or relax and enjoy the sailing trip and the view on the water. The high sea rail makes the ship extra safe for small children.
From the cockpit, you walk straight to the spacious lower deck saloon with its light colours, woodwork and cosy seating areas. A lovely place to relax and chat into the night after sailing. The open kitchen invites you to prepare a nice meal for the group and is directly connected to the cockpit and seating areas, keeping you in touch with the rest of the group. And the central heating makes it extra comfortable on colder days.
After an active day of sailing, you can relax in one of the comfortable contemporary cabins with cosy portholes and a washbasin. In addition, the ship has communal showers and toilets.
De Onderneming is also ideal for company outings. Various equipment is available on board for holding a seminar, training or company presentation.
The paviljoentjalk De Onderneming was built in 1897 and served as a cargo ship. The current owners Stephan and Miranda Jansen bought her in 2008 and completely rebuilt and modernised her inside into the spacious, handy fast tjalk she is today.
