The Pouwel Jonas has a strikingly spacious deck. Here you can enjoy the most beautiful views and spectacular sunsets. The large windows in the saloon give you a beautiful view below deck as well.

It is pleasant to relax in a cosy salon with a nautical atmosphere. In the well-equipped kitchen you can enjoy cooking for the group on a robust six-burner gas cooker with a large oven. In addition, you may not expect this to be on board of a ship, but the sanitary facilities at Pouwel Jonas are really nice and spacious.

Corporate Social Responsibility

On board of the Pouwel Jonas, corporate social responsibility is very important. That is why they offer their guests biodegradable cleaning products and toilet paper. They also have fairtrade coffee and a water cooler with flat and sparkling filtered water on board, to prevent an abundance of plastic bottles. This cooler also provides hot tea.

History 

The Pouwel Jonas is a two-masted topsail clipper. The ship was built in 1897 and has been used as a cargo ship for many years. One hundred years later the ship has been converted into a comfortable charter. This clipper has been on the road for many years over the IJsselmeer, Ketelmeer, the Waddensea and the Frisian Lakes.
