The two-masted clipper 'Sperwer' was built in 1893 and was originally used for coastal navigation. Then the 'Sperwer' served for many years as a sailing and subsequently motor ship on the river Rhine. The 'Sperwer' is currently once again an old-time sailing ship: remarkable and attractive. Skipper and owner Alex van den Broeck has sailed for years on the sturdy clipper 'Sperwer'. He takes all the time necessary to discuss his guests' specific wishes. Almost everything is possible.
The 'Sperwer' is an ideal ship for long sailing trips to the Frisian Sea or historic small ports. The ship has a large deckhouse with pleasant sitting areas. You can take shelter in the safe guest cockpit while sailing or actively take part. Standing at the helm of the 'Sperwer' will soon make you feel like a skipper.
