Built in 1881, the 'Tsjerk Hiddes' is the oldest, largest three-masted 'Stevenaak' still in service in the Netherlands. She originally served as a river vessel and was converted in 1993 into a fast, luxuriously designed three-master. This impressive three-masted ship combines luxury with excellent sailing characteristics and exudes authenticity and warmth.
Located above deck with stunning views across the water, her tastefully furnished dayroom features comfortable leather sofas and a pleasant bar with draught beer. All cabins have bunk-beds and a private shower and toilet. The bottom bunks in the three-person cabins are double beds and the well equipped galley makes cooking child's play, either for you or the catering staff.
Her beautifully wooden decks provide all the comfort you need, and the covered cockpit offers plenty of seating space.
The skipper of the Tsjerk Hiddes received very good reviews from his guests over the past sailing season about, among other things, the general impression of the ship, the contact with the skipper and the provision of information during the trip, and was therefore named Tophost. He received an average rating of 4.9 on a five-star scale from his guests.
