The NAUPAR ships are ready for the winter
Lelystad, 8 November 2017 – Winter is right around the corner, but that’s not something we need to remind our captains of, as several ships have already undergone a (minor) metamorphosis and are now 100% prepared for the winter. These changes range from placing a heater aboard the Abel Tasman and patio heater on the deck of the Summertime to double glazing on the Pouwel Jonas. And many more changes!
Preparing for winter
Last winter, heaters were installed aboard the Abel Tasman. These enable the guests to enjoy the views from deck during the winter without getting cold. The Summertime has a patio heater on deck, which also provides the necessary warmth. And the Pouwel Jonas recently installed double glazing. This insulated glass is not only environmentally beneficial but also keeps the day room nice and warm! Nearly all NAUPAR ships have heating in the day room, so you can always be sure of a comfortable, warm place to relax on board when it gets chilly on deck.
Winter enjoyment
In November and December, you can step aboard one of our ships together with colleagues and sail to a charming harbour town, where you can enjoy a delicious – and well-deserved – glass of glühwein at an inviting Christmas market. Or schedule a corporate retreat for early in the spring of 2018! Of course, you can also bring friends and/or family to enjoy a well-deserved weekend break aboard one of our heated ships!
