In a beautiful location on the Randmeren - between Zwolle and Harderwijk - you will find the beautiful town of Elburg. Elburg is a highly recommended destination for a weekend trip from Kampen. This old Hanseatic city is framed by picturesque canals with beautiful ramparts and parts of the old city wall. In the historic harbor are Botter and other fishing vessels - witnesses to the old fishing fleet. The showers and toilets in the harbor are not open to the public. There is no swimming pool within walking distance, but an outdoor pool in 't Harde. Also, the beach is relatively close - about 15 minutes away on foot. Barbecues in the harbor are allowed. The supermarket is located in the old tram depot on the other side of the old town, about 5 minutes on foot.
