The classical lines of this two-masted clipper belie a cosy, comfortable boat. After its launch in 1912, the Sûdwester carried her cargo on the inland waterways of Western Europe. Since being discovered in spring 1997, much work has gone into restoring her original rigging. Below deck, the interior of the Sûdwester is durable and rustic. Sanitation complies with modern standards.
