Bataviastad Outlet Shopping Center
The outlet is an imitation of a city with a city wall and three city gates. It has been extended several times and now has 150 shops with more than 250 fashion brands on a total area of 31,000m2.
History of the Bataviastad Outlet Shopping Center
The branch was opened in 2001 as the first outlet centre in the Netherlands and is located directly on the Markermeer. It is named after the ship Batavia from 1628. A replica of the Batavia shipyard is a 5-minute walk from the outlet. Nice to combine with a day of shopping.
