The museum section of the Centrum voor Natuur en Landschap (centre for nature and landscape) explains the origin of Terschelling. You learn about the development of the landscape – tides and sand movement, sea currents and weather conditions. Besides normal cod, the sea aquarium also has the unique short-spined sea scorpion. Animations and quizzes also make the centre fun for children.
