The Viking Information Centre, better known as the VIC, started as a visitor’s centre. The reason for this was the discovery of three silver treasures, attributed to the Vikings. The exhibition room houses a permanent exhibition on these treasures, and you will also find mostly original objects from the Viking era (approximately 800 - 1100 AD).
